A collection of photographs from Lynn Andrew (Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines) taken during his tour of duty in the Vietnam War.
Also Kaoshiung, Taiwan harbor. On the left is Lee Edgemon and on the right is Charles Shultzbaugh ("C.B."). C.B. was a good harmonica player.
Outside of Kaoshiung town on rickshaws. Unknown left, Larry "Kaz" Kazakevich center, possibly Hollihan right.
Somewhere near Subic Bay, Philippines. Walt Stencler left, Glenn Blackburn below hand, two Marines to left of Blackburn no id, Stanley "Doc" Hall I believe standing, Lieutenant Steven Berkheiser sitting on log, Kaz with hat on, Marine in back no id.
Somewhere near Subic Bay, Philippines. Some of the same guys and others unknown.
I think this might be Anderson Air Force base on Guam. We did make one stop on the way to Nam from California.
John Carroll left, to his left with sun glasses unknown, Stencler in white shirt, Joe Gutierrez in front of Stencler.
Choppers on the USS Okinawa. There was one time when we watched one of these choppers dissapear below the bow of the ship just after takeoff. It was having trouble getting lift. We thought it was going into the drink. Luckily, it reappeared and took to the sky.
On a landing craft heading down river. Don't remember if we were heading back to ship or not. No id's on Marines.
Stanley Wilson with his finger in a bullet hole in his helmet. This was probably during the first two wqeeks of May, 1967 on Operation Beaver Cage.
Probably on Operation Beaver Cage in May, 1967. Robert Bogdon on the left. Lee Edgemon on the right.
Probably not far south of the DMZ where the sand went inland quite aways. They shelled us from the DMZ when we were in this area and I saw two artillery shells impact into the sand, not much further than forty yards away. Both were duds, thank God.
Probably not far south of the DMZ where the sand went inland quite aways. Unknown left, Neal Faircloth center, Lee Edgemon right.
Probably not far south of the DMZ where the sand went inland quite aways. South of the DMZ I believe. One of the few times we had tanks with us.

Don't remember where these were taken. I think maybe somewhere just south of Da Nang.
On the Okinawa. Richard Croteau left, possibly Neal Faircloth center, unknown right.
